JENNR8R 0 #1 September 22, 2006 My boss was going to be out of town on payday. He came to me and asked my permission to get his paycheck in advance. He promised not to cash it until the actual pay date. This is the President of the company. If it were me, I would simply tell my employee to give me my check early. He does that kind of stuff all of the time. What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.

Randy_H 0 #3 September 22, 2006 As far as the early checks go, we give out checks early but they are post dated to the payroll date so they can't cash them early anyways. Your boss sounds like a decent guy, he does the right thing in leading by example! kuddos to him!010010010110010101100001011101000111000001110101011100110111001101111001

JohnnyD 0 #8 September 22, 2006 The partners at my firm are the best. They're like family. They sent me to a charity golf tournament yesterday and told me to make sure we got our sponsorship fees back in free beer. I did my best. When I crawled in this morning, they mixed me up a bloody mary and told me not to work on anything very challenging. Love my job.
Lindercles 0 #9 September 22, 2006 QuoteRule #1 is "do not discuss specifics about work online." What, are you afraid they might go checking up on you and find the nasty things you wrote about them on the internet? Yeah, like THAT would ever happen!
