jakee 1,596 #3 September 22, 2006 Holy fuck that's insane! And I thought Sir Ranulph Fiennes' 7 marathons, 7 days, 7 continents was hardcore - granted he'd just had a heart attack and needed to be followed with a defribulator but this is a whole other level 'Nuff respect.Do you want to have an ideagasm? monkycndo 0 #4 September 22, 2006 My brother is into the ultra events like this. He likes the stuff at altitude, like the Leadville 100 and the Western States 100. One of these years I'm going to work as support crew for him. I just tired thinking about it.50 donations so far. Give it a try. matt1215 0 #5 September 22, 2006 Wow, that's insane. I think there's a group that runs from Baker to Vegas, and does so in insane heat.
jshatzkin 0 #6 September 22, 2006 Yeah,..Dean K. is nuts! His book is an awesome read. He did something else crazy like run 200 miles straight throughout the night,..with the finish at the start line of a marathon, then finished the marathon in under 3 hours. He also did a marathon in the South Pole (only a few ultra runners did it)...buried in snow. He is a complete natural....freak of nature.Jen
