SkydiveStMarys 0 #1 September 24, 2006 I have four dogs. I love them all. One of the dogs that I have I refer to as Chicken Little. She is the biggest whinning dog on earth. Storm coming, OMG!! She runs around as though the sky if falling!! Now I have a problem...her toe nails need to be cut and she doesn't like it. In fact, she whines and cries as though the piss is being beaten out of her. Gosh...this is gonna suck!! Anyone want to help jump on her for me?? ImGunnaJump 0 #3 September 24, 2006 Well, it's Cat Hunter here... I have to get her in a half-nelson, and usually can only do 2 paws at a time before she starts to completely go out of her mind. I have to catch her again later to finish the other two. I brush her after w/her favorite grooming brush as a reward, hoping some postitive association would eventually make it easier, but nothin' doin'. She's a cat, they have their own way of looking at the world, so I don't expect she'll ever let it be easy. JENNR8R 0 #4 September 24, 2006 My dog hates to have her nails clipped too. I just take her to the vet and have them do it. I'm afraid I'm going to hurt her when she struggles so much. They distract her with a line of canned cheese to lick while they are doing it... with two people...What do you call a beautiful, sunny day that comes after two cloudy, rainy ones? -- Monday.
