SkydiveStMarys 0 #1 September 24, 2006 In keeping with tradition.... My brother is 12 years older then me and a complete Dork, BUT I love him anyway. We talk more via email then telephone and there are times when we don't talk for whatever reason. I guess life gets in the way, ya know? Any way...even though we don't stay in touch when we do get together we don't miss a beat. He like "dead things" too. BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude. tmaricle55 0 #2 September 24, 2006 I have a "baby" brother who is 11 years younger than me. We are very close even when he is being a total dumbass. He has a heart of gold and really means well... just sometimes not the brightest bulb in the pack. He is coming around and trying to make better choices in life, he is in his early 20's. Muff Brother # 3883, SCR # 14796 ICD # 1 - Pres. Yeah, I noticed and I think it's funny!
NWFlyer 2 #3 September 24, 2006 I have one, almost exactly three years older than me. He hated me for the vast majority of our childhood, which shaped a lot of who I was (for a while anyway, till I got over it and stopped blaming him and became the person I want to be). Somewhere along the line he (mostly) got over the fact that I'd come along and disrupted his perfect little life as King of the Household. We get along okay now, but we are VERY different people and I think we respect that and don't try to be best friends."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

apollard24 0 #10 September 24, 2006 I have 4 brothers. ALL younger then me. Jay is 24, Trey is 20, Austin is 12, Garrett is 10. I love them all but Jay and I get along the best. He's the funniest person Ive ever met! Too bad his lives in another state right now but he's great! Trey and I get along ok but he's too much like me that we butt heads alot. People say that he could be my twin in personality and looks. Austin and Garrett are too young to not get along with. Breathe out so I can breathe you in... jumpchikk 0 #12 September 24, 2006 I think she's talking about Myspace. Oh and to respond to this thread...I have 2 older bros as well. One is 13 years older and the other is 11 years older. Growing up it was like having three dads. My oldest bro used to scare the boys off that would show up on their motorcycles...my other bro used to get me ready for school and make me French Toast and watch the Roadrunner with me on Saturday mornings. The oldest bro is now married to my childhood best friend and the other bro is moving back to Chatt. We all three keep in touch on a weekly basis...Kinda freaky how much we have in common or our daily habits and none of us live in the same state. Ah well...I love em...can't imagine my life without them.

matt1215 0 #14 September 24, 2006 I've never met my older brother. He only lived 3 months but would be about 4.6 years older than I and exactly 3 years younger than my sister. I think of him as a guardian-angel of sorts and look forward to meeting him in heaven. The 3 older ones are 3, 4 and 5 years older than me while my younger brother is 10 years younger. So, for a long time I was the 'pain in the ass little brother'. I regularly got the shit kicked out of me. In hindsight, I guess this was good because it taught me to defend myself. When my little brother came along I was 10, I thought 'Oh good, someone to beat the shit out of.' Well, it didn't work that way since he was so much younger than me. Now, we're all adults and very close friends. We're particularly rallying around my brother Ed because his wife has been recently diagnosed with stage 2-3 breast cancer and is going through very radical chemo. One thing I tend to do to get revenge on them is to call them pussies because they're too afraid to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. They give me lame excuses like their wives would object and they have to think of their kids. I know the truth, their just plain pussies. But, their still my bros. We never really got along as kids but he was always there if someone else was picking on me. When my mom was diagnosed with a brain tumour when I was 14 and he was 15, we kind of had to "rally together" to keep the house running while my parents were dealing with treatment. Ever since then, we've been fairly close, until he remarried 2 years ago to a complete "C U Next Tuesday". She's done her best over the last 2 years to completely take him away from his friends and family. The only time I see is when he stops by to pick up his mail, or when he needs me to watch his kids (which I don't mind at all!). Hopefully he'll figure things out. I miss having him around (despite the fact he was, and is STILL, sometimes a total shit! -- at least he doesn't pin me down and breathe peanut butter breath on me anymore!)
