ThighMan 5 #1 September 25, 2006 Just a quick question. Now that gas prices have dropped .60 cents, have the drop zone prices for lift tickets dropped?....... Or, once the drop zone has them set and know people will pay the $22.00 or more for a lift, have kept them at the raised price. Makes you wonder............ P.S. I know, I don't run a drop zone and know all the price and cost. But, don't tell us the reason you raised the price of a jump ticket is because of the price of fuel......Airborne Blue Skies, No Wind Feet and Knees Together

CSpenceFLY 1 #3 September 25, 2006 Unfortunately Jet-A prices have not followed auto gas yet. Also when the gas prices took off we were already over due for price increases in jump tickets.Prices would have to come way down to warrent droping jump ticket cost. . okalb 104 #4 September 25, 2006 Actually, I was surprised when your own DZ z-hills did this last year. The prices were raised when fuel prices went up and when they dropped back down, TK dropped prices back down. I thought it was a pretty cool thing to do. Of course they raised them again a few months later when fuel prices started to soar again. -OKTime flies like an arrow....fruit flies like a banana
popsjumper 2 #5 September 25, 2006 What Chris said. At my home DZ, ticket-price increase was delayed as long as possible and I would not expect decreases to happen immediately. You'll find that at some DZs, prices will not go back down at all while others probably will. It's a balance between fun and money. Fortunately, at my current home DZ, we are all about fun because we have both a kick-ass DZO and a kick-ass property owner.
