shropshire 0 #1 September 28, 2006 Yesterday (Sierra Nevada - SPAIN) , I walked up to 3100m (from 2500 - so not too far - yeah right, that's not what my lungs said!!) - carrying 20kgs of Paraglider... Fue difícil el trabajo. Once there and able to see again.. the view was outstanding. Laying out my glider, I paid particular attention to ensure that the thin lines did not get snagged on the sharpe mica rocks.... and after a couple of failed launches ran like a mad mullah down the side of the mountain for ages before the wing became loaded enough to support me... F***king Hell. Once airbourne I found a thermal that lifted me back above take-off (always a great feeling) and then headed off towards Granada..... and Another Perfect Day.
