micro 0 #3 September 28, 2006 "On the subway today, a man came to me to start a conversation. He made small talk, this lonely man, talking about the weather and other things. I tried to be pleasant and accommodating, but my head began to hurt from his banality. I almost didn't notice it had happened, but I suddenly threw up all over him. He was not pleased, and I couldn't help laughing." I miss Lee. And JP. And Chris. And...

Jewels 0 #9 September 28, 2006 My porch light isn't motion sensitive, but it is light sensitive, so it's supposed to come on when it starts to get dark and then go off again in the morning. This is an excellent plan and a very nice feature, but considering that the bulb has been burned out all summer, it is entirely meaningless.TPM Sister #
lawrocket 3 #10 September 28, 2006 QuoteYep and its always on!! Yeaaaah baby!! Bobbi I just took mine down for the same reason... However, we just purchased several sconces (I'm a married man, so I know what a freaking "sconce" is) and I am installing them. Four down, six to go. Oh, yes, and I turn the poer off at the main panel now prior to installation. Myy lovely lady wanted to make sure I had enough light last Monday when I was installing one of them. I thanked her for her attempted helpfulness, but asked that in the future, she please consider the possible negative ramifications of her helpfulness. Then again, we are paid up on my life insurance.
