Caution! do not PLF in your living room

I tried.

The dropzone is closed for the winter, none of the other places have rental gear, and I'm planning on downsizing. So I thought, I might as well read up on the theory for my B-certificate test and practice my PLFs.

The reading was straightforward, but crashing my feet into a chair doing a PLF on an old mattress was painful.

Luckily I'm not seriously hurt, but I'll try outside next time. Rather have people look at me when I do it in a park than kicking that chair again.



Well, I need to be able to PLF. I'm going to try a PD 126R.

A PLF saved my life today...

I was doing some yard work and the trash can was filled with leaves. You guessed it...I was inside the trash can, jumping up and down on the leaves, packing them so I could fit more inside...when the trash can tipped. I PLF'd a perfect landing and walked away unscathed. Nary a scratch.

Practice those PLF's! They could save -your- life someday too.

Before I even finished reading your post, I knew where you were going. I've done the same thing. Except I didn't know how to PLF then. Ouch.
