I did have to take tonight off due to scheduling (it's 10:30pm and I'm still working [:/]) so I'll do workouts #2 & #3 Saturday and Sunday.

You really got me on that one. I saw the thread title, and even read the post, but up until I opened the link I thought it was a pretty cool idea/'program' you guys were promoting, riding a couch down from altitude to 5K...
That's what 'Couch to 5K' made me think of first; cool pictures of people being couch potatoes in freefall. :P

I am doing Thursday Saturday Sunday just for this week...then I think I'll do Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

I need to 'work out' every day though to keep going, so I'll do a 20 minute walk or something on the off days just to develop the habit. :)

I'm in too, not that anyone here knows me yet. Just did #1... I didn't realize i was in such poor shape [:/] Maybe if I know other people out there are doing the same program, it'll help with my usual lack of motivation...

Found a good podcast that goes along with this. He even tells you when to start and stop your intervals all set to some nice trance-electronica-and chill for the cool down. very very good podcast. plus you don't have to keep looking at the watch.

Hooray! I think I'll start #1 tonight! Now all I have to do is find out where the damn gym is AT on campus... :D

Oh man...you guys are tempting me to forgo my David Lee Roth attitude towards running..."I used to run, but I kept spilling the ice cubes out of my drink."

Last week I bought my wife the Nike+iPod gizmo for her Nano to help motivate her to start walking again (she's recovering from a stem cell transplant). I tried it out on Saturday to see how to get it working so I could show her...and it was so cool! Pace, distance covered and time elapsed. You can calibrate it for your walking or running pace if you want but it was dead on for me...I used a treadmill and at the end the distance on both was the same.

Now, you're showing me a podcast that matches up with each weeks' program in the Couch to 5k....soon, I will have NO excuse.:S
