Andy_Copland 0 #1 October 2, 2006 Well Friday some kids decided to scare my parrot which took off and flew away, i've had him 2 years and hes never gone from me and if he has he comes straight back (have him in the garden everyday). I was only near my door when they scared the crap out of him kicking a football at the wooden fence and he left. He flew to a motorway and got hit by a car, the guy that hit him used to own a pet shop and took him to the vets for treatment. They checked him over and gave him the all clear. Hes now 100 miles away at the guys home and his 16 year old kid, who lost his mother 4 years ago and is nearly blind through a disease has grown attached... The guys a single father but because of my broken ribs i cant afford much (sick pay isnt good) so i've offered him 200 quid reward and spoke to his kid asking if he'd like to do a tandem. Both are really appreciative and hes using the money to buy a parrot for the kid. I just wish he hadnt got attached 1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. So no it wouldnt rather be in a jungle.
