ntrprnr 0 #26 October 3, 2006 Broke a new personal best - half marathon, 1:50:54. Jumped out of a bomber. Sat in Temple for Yom Kippur. All in all, pretty good._______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

Shell666 0 #29 October 3, 2006 Work work and more work. I work in a Conference Centre in the University Residence. Got news on Friday afternoon about this (this is from Sunday's paper): Norwalk virus suspected in U of A outbreak EDMONTON - Twenty-five new cases of sick students were added to an outbreak at the University of Alberta's Lister Hall residence on Saturday, bringing the number of victims this month to 115. Had to relocate about 40 events booked into our Conference Centre. It was not fun (but definitely more fun than the afflicted students were having). Guess we'll see what tomorrow brings ... RkyMtnHigh 0 #30 October 3, 2006 Last weekend was pretty special...and emotional. It was my farewell weekend at Sebastian since I'm heading out to Atlanta for my new job and leaving south Florida. I laughed, I cried, kept my sunglasses down most of the weekend to hide the tears. I've made so many awesome friends down here and it's so hard to think of not seeing them regularly each weekend. Bittersweet for sure. My closest friends made sure that every one of my jumps were "special" in some way...Freefly with Amanda, Rob, and Norman; RW with Dixie and Amanda, George, Ian, Bob, Bruce, and others..as they velcro'd me and stuck Barbies all over my body ...only the brunette is MIA still...I'll hold a spot for her in my shadowbox. Sunset beach jump (although I've done beach jumps at Emerald Coast at Flora Bama and Sombrero Beach at Marathon/Key West) it was special..Becca and I had an awesome jump and a kiss pass. I'll miss you all so very much but promise to visit often! The afterparty at Hirams on the beach was a great way to top off the farewell...thanks to all who came and drank, toasted, danced, celebrated...best of everything to you all! _________________________________________

popsjumper 2 #37 October 3, 2006 Woke up, put on my gear, stepped out my door and walked to the plane. Did 1 FJC and FINALLY got in a decent RW jump with a couple of good flyers and knocked off a little rust. Several coach jumps, EP reviews and Proficiency card sign-offs with students. Played Party Poker and Poker Stars trying to lose all my play money before they shut down. Sat and stared ga-ga eyed a tandem student and tried to not get caught doing it.My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus.
