Nasal spray/drugs/flashback

I haven't used drugs for many years. There are a few things that I stay away from because of my past addictions. One being any home and garden center. What ever is in their lawn care section, the smells seem very familiar to me. Well I have figured out something else that I need to stay away from. My son was presrcibed a nasal spray yesterday via a DR because he is suffering from allergies and a nasty head cold. Well I woke up with a stuffed up nose and decided to see what this stuff was all about. I never even gave it a thought. I sprayed and my head felt like it was hit by a bolt of lightening. It was totally bizarre. It was really weird, the same tastes, sensations everything. Nasal spray...another thing to put on my list to stay the hell away from!

Nasal sprays just suck. I honestly dont know how people can use them...

I completely understand what you're talking about. At least you didn't just decide to try something a little more "intense"...just to see if you missed anything.

On a lighter note, ... what are you doing putting something your son sticks up his nose, up your nose??!! That's kind of like trading boogers...

I made sure to wipe it off before and after I used it with rubbing alcohol. As a Mom we have traded alot lot worse then boogers!! I am I right Moms or am I right??!! Now try catching vomit!! That my friends it loads of fun!!

Seriously though? I caught it with my hands...ever see the comercial where the lady takes a dive onto the new carpet just as a wine glass starts to spill over? That was me, only with the new carpet we put in years ago. Right as my son was going to hurl. I have learned my lesson and have since put in hard wood floors.

I once tried Afrin. Holy Shit, it knocked me on my ass. It was like I was tasered. My sinuses were burning and stinging for hours.

I've always had allergies that would give me sinus headaches. My doc put me on Nasacort AQ. Since it is a steroid, you use it everyday no matter how you're feeling. I have never had sinus congestion again. Awesome stuff, but then again I've never had a drug problem.
