skydivingchad 0 #1 October 5, 2006 my wife and I are disagreeing about this Does partly cloudy mean that there is more clouds than sun or more sun than clouds? I think that partly cloudy means that there is more sun than clouds. Am I wrong? Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug. rehmwa 2 #3 October 5, 2006 Partly sunny = mostly cloudy Partly cloudy = mostly sunny isn't clarity a strange thing? time to wallow in stereotype.... when a man says "partly cloudy", any women only hears "bzzzzzzzzzzzzz CLOUDY bzzzzzz" it explains your wife's incorrect position, but it allows you to 'understand' her point. which is really all she wants in the first place time to step away from the stereotype.... ... davedlg 0 #6 October 5, 2006 ...so partly cloudy describes the same condition that partly sunny does. The only difference is partly sunny is used during the daytime, partly cloudy at night. I never woulda thunk...
