legorowbot 0 #1 October 6, 2006 Wow... what a great night. I expected a boring dinner as I stepped in to the Chili's in Rayhnam, MA on a business trip. Sat down at the bar next to a couple of older guys. After a couple of beers I hear them talking about buying a small plane that they're going to fly cross country tomorrow morning. I mention that I'm a fan of aviation and a skydiver. Turns out I'm sitting next to Steve Lance, who is D 300 or so and his buddy Donnie. These guys were jumping back in 1959, over 20 years before I was born. I just sat there awestruck listening to them tell me about the good old days. Poor Donnie found out the hard way to stay away from the prop... he's only got 2 and 1/2 finders on his left hand. Its a damn shame they had to leave before I could buy them a round.
