popsjumper 2 #27 October 6, 2006 I had been jumping SCRs all day long and some TX sun-dried crispy critter who said he wanted me to jump on HIS SCR didn't tell me that it was going to go at sunset and I missed it. No word of warning, no "Hey, where's Andy?", no nothing...and I missed it. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. boinky 0 #30 October 6, 2006 Hey...he wasn't a "sun-dried crispy critter" until the NEXT day! And yes, we did look for you and had Clint look for you, but we were running out of time. Besides, there were so many people that wanted in on a sunset SCR that there were not 1, but 2 groups of 10 jumpers clustered up front of the hangar in circles practicing....a fast falling group for Mike and a slower falling group for Kendra. How in the hell did you miss that? Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? (RIP Buzz) Yep, you're a postwhore-billyvance

How in the hell did you miss that? An hour and a half before that you couldn't find ANYONE to even make the 8 way happen. I talked to Dave Burton, and Lee mcMillian was standing right there . . . once they were on board - it took me 45 minutes to find more than 3 other people. I was even considering being IN the formation)!! Then A couple of really nice people and John Rich, leapt on board and then we had 8. So we are just about to DD the 8 way - 11 other people showed up in the last 10 minutes. Then, as irony would have it, we are just about to make it a 20 way SCR with video and someone made the decision to break it in half. It just worked out really well that we could break it in half again, this time we put it back together though. When I say "we" mean the 10 skydivers that can actually fly without a camera suit.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
boinky 0 #33 October 6, 2006 Yes, I remember the hassles you went through to put it together. First you couldn't find anyone. Then you found enough and starting putting it together. Then someone backed out. You were going to be in it, just to make it happen. Then another someone backed out. Then you found some other nice people to help out. Just when you're putting the 8 way together, they started multiplying like little bunny rabbits. Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts?
