I think she has had a good time ;) we got to jump with John & Valinda and some other great folks at kapowsin. She might have been the youngest on the jumps but she's still 40! On friday, my family gave me a wake/40th b-day party, dressed me up like a granny, had me lay in a "fake" cardboard coffin and gave me a wake and told all of the family secrets! Then jumped all day yesterday (4), with some WAY UP-JUMPERS! They were so gracious and kind, organizing BIG WAY RW jumps for someone who wasn't nearly as good a flyer, making slots I could do well in. I got a 6 point 5 way, a 4 point 7 way, a 9 point 4 way...and the last jump I don't remember! (sucks getting old!!) All of the jumps were just incredible. I didn't have one bad jump, learned a TON on every dive and really had one of my best jump days ever! And by the way, will post this in the reviews, but Kapowsin is an amazing place to jump. Valinda & John M., Cheet-O, Lysa and Billy were all so kind and welcoming. Talked to Jesse a bit, and really enjoyed ourselves. Their hanger is almost done, it is BEAUTIFUL, but hanger or not...the atmosphere there is pretty incredible. Made a couple of strangers feel very welcome! That says a lot for how they run their place. Glad I don't look...or feel 40. Remember John...you will always be older than me! To borrow a line from Squeak...MY LIFE ROCKS!! HOW'S YOURS??!!!
