RandomLemming 0 #1 October 9, 2006 Yesterday I did two jumps at Headcorn. I wasn't in the right mindset for them so they didn't go as well as planned, but still... Today I'm sitting at work trying to hold myself together. My mom would have been 56 today, but she took her life in 1999. I normally manage to put it out of my mind, but not this year. Those people that say time heals all wounds have obviously got more patience than me. I'm really thankful for skydiving, because right now the only things keeping me from falling apart are the jumps I did yesterday and the way every jump makes me feel. I guess I just want to say thank you to everyone I've met while skydiving and posting here. This addiction is keeping me sane, stable and productive. Peej 0 #2 October 9, 2006 Hey man, I can't even begin to understand what you're going through today, a friend took her own life a few years ago and it rocked me even though we weren't that close. I admire your positive attitude and the fact that you can see how much beauty this sport holds. Keep smiling and be strong. jumpjunkie2004 0 #3 October 9, 2006 There aren't any words that anyone can say to help you heal after having such a tragic loss. I hope that as more time passes your heart will heal. Skydiving is wonderful therapy : )Jump, Land, Pack, Repeat...

PJ I'm really sorry to hear of your loss :( The weird thing about skydiving is that it is beautiful. And it's relaxing and peaceful... Kinda contrary to expectations. I have a hard time convincing people that I skydive to relax. I hope it continues to give you peace and happiness. Karen

RandomLemming 0 #8 October 9, 2006 I was just thinking on how I was with her, and our last conversation. It seemed an apt subject line. One of those things that I would do totally differently if I ever got the chance.

One of those things that I would do totally differently if I ever got the chance. There are times that I want to strangle my teenage son. He's in a very difficult place right now, but I still love him. I'm sure that no matter what you said or didn't say to your mom that she loved you as well. Sending some ((((((( hugs))))))) It sounds like you could use them.Jump, Land, Pack, Repeat...
