Well,the college I was last attending used the Bearcat as a mascot and they say that it is an animal more commonly known as a Kinkajou.Its a Rainforrest animal.Its black,long-tailed, tree-climbing animal that looks something like a cross between a bear,a lemur and a raccoon(Pic attached). They actually had one on campus for awhile but it didnt take to the TX climate well..go figure LOL!Damn I actually learned something in orientation.

Went to several high schools ... most memorable ... Wahpeton, North Dakota, 1969. Still have a t-shirt with the logo, "Go Wops Go."

Unfortunately, it couldn't last. About ten years ago the sports team's were renamed the Huskies following a violent confrontation in a parking lot in Chicago following a basketball tournament.
