jtval 0 #130 October 11, 2006 BTW- there was some strange new guy at the DZ on Sunday. I think he's gonna be around this season. Poor Guy; he came all the way out to find out the winds were gusting to 25mph. Are all those pics at redrock? My photos My Videos

He's a low-timer but he's learning more every jump! I can hardly wait for the Caravan to arrive! I know...and there was no wind in Vegas when I left and I just knew it would be a perfect day for skydiving in Mesquite...Oh well it got me out of the bed at least. Some of the pictures are from Red Rocks, one is Arrow Canyon (half way to Mesquite) and another is from the foothills of Mt. Charleston.- - - I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.

mbondvegas 0 #133 October 11, 2006 I went Saturday for the first time since spring and only the 5th or 6th time this year. And that is why I missed out on the only good skydiving day this weeknd. I used to climb multiple times per week, but its now gotten hard to balance all my hobbies. After 10+ years of climbing pretty hard...skydiving just seems so much more fun these days. My wife will keep me climbing on a occassion though...as she can join in on the fun...skydiving will never be for her. Maybe a tandem every couple of years...but thats it. There is a great climbing spot on the other side of mesquite...you can clearly see it on jumprun and in freefall. It's called limekiln canyon. A picture of the main wall is attached.- - - I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.
