VanillaSkyGirl 6 #83 November 23, 2003 Wow! Looking real good, Kelli! :) Just by looking at the way your body has changed (buff biceps, girl!), you totally look like a climber. Your upper body is looking soooo strong! That was what happened to me when I was climbing. You must be sooo good now. I KNOW that I will be challenged by the routes that you pick for the DZ.com climbing trip. :O I haven't climbed in years!!!! (OK, once.) WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! Well, I can't wait for the upcoming climbing trip. I have to say that the only thing that I am worried about is my left knee. I think that I need surgery on it. It has turned into a "trick knee" that gives out unexpectedly and is constantly swollen. Oh well, just watch me real good while I am on bely, OK? I am STILL going to CLIMB with you all!!!!! See you next month. Weeeee!!! :)
skycat 0 #84 November 23, 2003 Thanks sweet *hugs* I went back and looked at the pic from Sept, and wow there is a difference. I knew I lost 15 lbs but I didn't realize how much thinner I was looking. I can't wait for the trip either....I get to jump with you again, and go climbing. This is going to be so much fun. btw....I'll PM you about your knee. My right knee dislocates at the drop of a hat (ask Mouth), so I may know a few tricks to get you threw the boogie.Fly it like you stole it!
VanillaSkyGirl 6 #85 November 23, 2003 QuoteI knew I lost 15 lbs but I didn't realize how much thinner I was looking. What!?! Are you saying that you are even thinner than when I met you in late May? Wow, when I met you, you were positively minuscule. I felt like a huge blob next to you. Isn't it funny how youfelt heavy, but, to me, you looked like a tiny, pretty, little doll. I think that your body looked great and thin back then, too. You are probably just feeling better about yourself (more healthy) now that you are climbing. Also, since climbing really sculpts the body, your muscles probably seem better defined/sculpted. Personally, I GAINED weight (muscle mass) when I was climbing. My upper body and arms became noticeably larger/more muscular when I was climbing as I was really tiny/bony in my upper body before then. Anyhoo, like I wrote before, you look really strong and really awesome! Are you saying that you are even thinner than when I met you in late May? Nope, I gained the weight after I met you. The next day at Perris I blew out my knee on a landing and basically spent the next couple of months doing nothing since it was so weak. Then I started climbing at the beginning of Sept and quickly lost the weight I put on. I'm now back at my normal weight, I may put a bit more back on, but no matter my muscle tone I tend to stay at this weight if I'm active.Fly it like you stole it!
