Ideas for who to give the discount to:

Recommended Posts

Long story made short:

This weekend I'm taking 16 of my rowers skydiving, because the group is this large I get roughly a $50 scheduling discount that I can keep for myself (on top of the referral fee I received) or i can pass it on to the group however I like. I've decided to give the scheduling discount of $50 to one of the people to help with the jump. The question is what is the best way to decide who gets it?

I could do a random draw but that's no fun. I was thinking of making them put their head on a bat circle around it 20 times, run 100 yards and put together an easy puzzle. Fastest time wins. Give me some ideas.

Would your DZ maybe be willing to just split the $50 equally 16 ways so you dont have to screw with all this?I know that would only be $3-4 each by the time its all said and done but its better than trying to pick a favorite and maybe end up with hard feelings on behalf of your teammates.

Or,if you just want to do this, make it simple: who was the FIRST one to say yes to the idea to go jump and was committed from the very beginning? Not someone who had to be talked into it or has been on the fence or anything.Or the one person who has been psyched from the beginning, stoked the whole time and bouncing off the walls non-stop talking about it. Those are the people I'd consider...the committed and the zealous. If not that, look at whos planning on getting video and narrow it down to one of them since they're paying extra for the video that the other guys just coming to jump arent paying.Help lighten that cost.

Just my $.02

:)
