BillyVance 35 #26 October 12, 2006 Once last winter. There were traces of it on the ground in the higher hills along I-20 between Birmingham and Pell City, AL. But the last time we had enough snow to cover the ground was probably 4 years ago. The last BIG motherfucker snowstorm was the blizzard of '96, I think? Had 12 inches in Birmingham, while parts of the northeast US was buried under 6 feet. The thing about snow in the south. Get half an inch on the ground, the whole fucking city gets paralyzed! skydivermom 0 #40 October 12, 2006 Christmas Eve 2004!! Unbelievable sight since I live in Texas. We lived in Baytown, near Houston, and my mom was actually driving to my house from San Antonio that night. When she arrived in my neighborhood about midnight, she actually thought everyone had gotten together and loaded their roof tops with fake snow. When she noticed the tops of the cars were also covered, she realized it was real. Just goes to show you how rare that was for Texas, especially on Christmas Eve.Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:

sundevil777 102 #42 October 12, 2006 Snowing now in Central Ohio! I'm 20 minutes from our little ski area (300 ft hill). It is wimpy, but it is plenty for the kids. At least they can't get too lost.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
