Liquor laws might be a pain for us hooligans though, I don't know how that works in Utah. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" Blues, Dave This is a cool area! http://www.valleylodging.com/ 3 resorts w/in 15-20 minutes. Powder Mountain is a great hidden resort. Lines are short and the snow is AWESOME. Snow Basin with the remodling from the Olympics is a 5 star resort with minimal crowds. Of course there is Park City / SnowBird down south, but the prices will go through the roof!. edited to add: and if you promise to be good boys and girls for a few short hours I might be able to talk my mom into some good home cooking!!! g"Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?" livendive 8 #59 October 12, 2006 It looks like there's no slope-side lodging or nightlife at Snowbasin or Powder mountain? I can see us making our own nightlife, but only if we have a condo or two to do so in. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" Kittyblood 0 #60 October 12, 2006 Lived in Utah most of my life and will be going home for Thanksgiving and again at Christmas. There is no night life in Utah except what you make. Might get a little in SLC or Park City. Drinking laws have been changed since the olympics so drinking in most places is allowed now. Big and Little cottonwood are some of the best resorts around and cheaper than the others for the most part.Blue Skies, Land Soft

Blues, Dave There are a few bars in Eden and the surrounding area.... but definitely nothing slope-side - IT'S UTAH!!!! We'd make our own nightlife.... There are plenty of other properties some that can sleep up to 18. Of course, getting people to commit is always the problem. g"Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?" kris2extreme 0 #62 October 12, 2006 i've lived in houston my whole life... i've never seen real snow, at least not in any amount. There's been a couple of times around here we've gotten some flakes, but nothing on the ground. The only thing i've seen on the ground was in oklahoma and was hard ass ice, not snow. AggieDave 6 #63 October 12, 2006 Snow? Its 77F outside right now. Snow? Its been a couple of years since I've seen snow. It was just last year, though, that I've seen things covered in ice. The parts of TX I've lived in tend to get ice storms more then snow...although every few years we'll get a couple inches of snow. Then everything shuts down for about a week.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
