matt1215 0 #1 October 14, 2006 Look what I woke up to this morning. Abby's doing great after 2 weeks, but is still learning house rules.
Michele 1 #2 October 14, 2006 ROFL....how many times has that happened in my house??? Here's a trick. When you can afford it, since she's a climber, you might want to invest in a tall cat tree. I have a three story one in my bedroom that Charlotte loves; and it keeps her from climbing everything except the entertainment center in my place. So give her an Abby-spot; and the tree is one of the best solutions I know of. Other than that....well, crashing in the middle of the night's nothing. Wait until one of them decide to flush the potty at 2 am...that's an odd, frightening situation. matt1215 0 #3 October 14, 2006 A cat tree's an idea, but will have to wait for now. I really don't have the space (or $$). I'll be in a bigger apartment next month (2/2) so I'll have more room for kitty stuff. We've had it for about a year and its still holding up. Covered completely in carpet.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
 AggieDave 6 #6 October 14, 2006 Yup, it comes in pieces in a box. It has 3 platforms not including the base and 4 sections of tubing structure that goes up to the ceiling. Our cats loved it, when we moved they lost intrest for some reason, but now they're starting to play on it again. They chase each other up and down the thing all hours of the day and night. I got a toy on a stick that they like and put it on the top so it stuck out just nearly out of reach away from the tree thing. That drove them nuts, too.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." That is often an issue with some of the less expensive cat trees out there. If you need to do some of the assembly yourself, you might want to have some extra hardware on hand. My oldest cat used to regularly seek the highest spot in the room. Now that he's almost 17, he prefers laps and beds! My cat just looked at and then me and then it. The little brat was damn disappointed!!
