waltappel 1 #1 October 16, 2006 I was looking around in youtube.com earlier today when I ran across this video: Good bye Martin: http://youtube.com/watch?v=CXQO9ypnou0. I found it very moving and watched the videos she was talking about. An old guy named Martin, in his eighties, was a WWII veteran and started talking about his experiences on video and posting them on youtube. If you have elderly parents (I do), you might want to check this out and make the opportunity to do something to preserve their personal history. In case you want to check out the videos (all are fairly short), here are links: Martin's first youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dsv4CaA6kS8&mode=user&search= Hip, hip hooray part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7C5HHAqZcOc&mode=user&search= The War years part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVuPlf4XJig&mode=user&search= The War years part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAT0Rnfv_O8&NR WITH GUN AND CAMERA DOWN THE ALIMENTARY CANAL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRih5rUvuBE&mode=user&search= Re: Re: The War years part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lw9PKzC2h00&mode=user&search= Walt
