Why do people clip their nails at work?

Every office I've ever worked in has at least one jackass who always clips his fingernails at work. Then leaves pieces of fingernail laying all over the place. Why can't you do that at home?! This is a place of business.

I cringe whenever I hear that noise.

I've got one better for you. One of my friends witnessed a guy that had the audacity to remove his shoes and socks so he could start clipping his TOE NAILS IN FIRST CLASS OF AN AIRPLANE!!!!!!!!! He said he really considered shooting him to prevent him contaminating the gene pool.

To me the worse is when someone files there nails. They guy in my office does that and it drives me fucking insane, I hate that noise!

I have a co-worker who takes her socks off and clips them on her desk...puts her foot up and cips aways for a long time..I'm about to offer a DREMEL or something to speed it up...ITS FRICKIN GROSS..just go in the bathroom or something...hell even at home!!!

Ew I can top all those stories... My boss comes into my office and sits down and clips his toe nails. One time one flew across the room and hit me in the face!!!!!!

I have to admit I clip them at work sometimes but I do it quietly and dispose of them. We have someone that clips his in a bathroom stall and leaves them all over the floor. It is disgusting to sit down and see them all over. My plan is to leave a note but haven't decided what to say.

Only time I would do it at work (or in any public place) is if I broke or tore a nail off and just needed to trim it down. But I'd probably go into a bathroom at least.
