karenmeal 0 #1 October 24, 2006 What a good morning! I finally got some good sleep last night and woke up to a brilliant cup of coffee. I have to tell you all about this cup of coffee. My coffee comes from here: www.fincalascanas.com Thw owner of this company is a guy that I go to school with. He is getting his degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences too. He is from Honduras and still keeps this coffee farm going down there while working and going to school up here. During the harvest time he takes his three kids and wife down there and they ride horses into the farm. (It's that remote.) Then the whole family and his one full-time employee, el tigre, harvest the coffee and bring it back up to the US where they package and distribute it. The coffee f'in kicks ass. You people can have your shade grown coffee.. protest starbucks, well order some coffee from my buddy Carlos. Direct from the farmer to you. Anyways.. I love waking up to this stuff! Woo. monkycndo 0 #2 October 24, 2006 Glad you had a good morning. It's always good to go straight to the source to support the little farmer. I have family in South America and have helped the local Co-Op pick, dry, roast and grind it. But coffee just tastes like ass in my opinion. How can something that smells so good brewing taste that bad when you drink it?50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

Elisha 1 #5 October 24, 2006 Cook a Greek/Turkish/Arabic/Egyptian blend in an ibrik on your stove. That is REAL authentic coffee. Unfortunately, I'm using an electric stove and an Italian frothing pitcher until I get an ibrik.
