Scoop 0 #1 October 26, 2006 So far I've been waiting for 6 weeks for a delivery from the states. According to the tracking number the item doesn't even exist... which is handy. Another item from within the UK has been 2 weeks and still not received, that was sent recorded delivery! HOW FUCKING LONG DOES IT TAKE!? So I guess I want to vent a little, but also share some comedy. I love this guy and despite me being majorly pissed off, this makes me smile every time... Scoop 0 #4 October 26, 2006 *SIGH* The sender used USPS standard parcel service, so I suppose it could be anywhere now All I wanted was a pair of boots and I was too stubborn to pay UK prices
DrewEckhardt 0 #5 October 26, 2006 Quote*SIGH* The sender used USPS standard parcel service, so I suppose it could be anywhere now There's your problem. Surface parcel post takes 4-6 weeks and they can't guarantee delivery. Quote All I wanted was a pair of boots and I was too stubborn to pay UK prices In which case you should have had them sent Global Express Mail for delivery in 3-5 business days. For small objects, shipping by plane isn't appreciably more expensive.

Even though I payed for it, it always seems like I got a present. lol

moodyskydiver 0 #9 October 26, 2006 I'm playing the waiting game too only I'm not waiting on a package.I'm waiting for the State of TX Licensing Service to finish processing my application and send me my TX CHL. I mailed it certified/return receipt the end of Aug and received the receipt Sept 2.They have by law, 60days from date of receipt to either A) send me my license or B) send me a rejection letter. Well on Oct 2 I received an envelope from the Licensing Service.Woohoo! My license! NOPE.It was a letter saying my application had been received and was now being processed and that I could check its status online.Online it only says "processing".Well no shit! So hopefully (and by law) I *should* have my license by Nov 2.State agencies suck! They're sooo slow!I swear I think they have an agreement with someone at the PO that says "dont put this letter in the box until the very last day possible." "...just an earthbound misfit, I."
