I had 40 acres of it just behind my house before it was harvested three weeds ago. Just had to walk about 50 yards and pick some when the urge struck. Froze about five pounds for the winter.

Pei Wei has it for about 2/LB and it's cooked and ready to eat - I bought 4 last night and have plenty for snacks and such at the DZ on Saturday. Too bad they will need to be refurbished tonight - there is a good movie on. And yes - they are MUCH betetr than Pop Corn.

Edamame is a great appetizer for a date. Seriously! Seeing how someone eats edamame can provide a nice background on a person. And it's sensual, too! One night I was admiring how a nice lady I had met that night was methodically and carefully using her fingers and tongue to get at the beens in the pod. She smiled and discussed how she ordered edamame because she thought it's a great aphrodisiac.

I didn't disagree.

You are wise enough to know that it is always the wimminfolk who look to hook up single men. It isn't dudes that say, "I know this great gal! I'll set you up!" No. It's the gals who say, "You really should meet my friend." Wives are better at that than anyone.

Of course, I have no friends, so my wife misses out on that. While guys make better wingmen, the gals make better squadron leaders in that department.

Hey, with a new house and dungeon shop, you shouldn't have much trouble. Invite a lady one over for decorating advice. Tell her you like her style. Have her go with you to shop for furniture. Fix her dinner with some nice wine and a good dessert (something like creme brulee - easy as hell to make, tasty, and "playing with fire.")
