DSE 5 #1 March 19, 2007 anyone else purchased one of these? Announced at PIA, it's a sort of a Voodoo/Talon FS container. The wait time seems to be the hardest part.

DSE 5 #3 March 20, 2007 Sure hope those multiply quickly. It felt like a Voodoo and has super clean lines that I found more attractive than the Voodoo, and the riser covers felt different over my shoulder, not sure how to describe it, but it seemed to make solid contact across the shoulder better, not cutting tight at the front and loose towards the back. I've got a Talon FS (T6) now, but got it used. How will the T6-sized FX manage with a 170 in it?
airgord 1 #4 March 20, 2007 we haven't built anything bigger than a 0 size, yet. Soon.

Talon FX sort of a Voodoo/Talon FS????!!? *confused look* I thought a Talon FS was sort of a Voodoo/Talon 2??? So how much is a Talon FX going to cost? Over 3-grand?? DSE 5 #6 March 20, 2007 If I recall correctly, the price is only slightly higher than a Talon FS. I'll see if I can dig up a photo from PIA. Gordo would provide a much more accurate description than I could.
airgord 1 #7 March 21, 2007 The yoke is thinner, not narrower, the #1 flap (reserve pin cover ) is changed, cleaned up underneath to make it easier for pin checks and riggers to close up without bending the plastic stiffener and eventually breaking it. The RSL mount is cleaned up and slightly relocated. The #2 flap (bottom reserve, top main) is also slightly changed (smaller). The the main riser closing flaps and main side flaps are now one piece, like the Voodoo somewhat and it really changes the look of the rig, kind of smoothes it out a bit I think. The backpad has what Sandy calls "comfort padding", like coolmax fabric on the legpads, upper and lower, horizontal pads, and of course the full length of the backpad, I think that is it, I'll have to pry the rig out of Sandy's hands and look at it again. Since PIA it has been in the showroom and customers have been prancing around in it and I've been busy back in production and fighting off the flu that I need to get better aquainted with my NEXT new rig. It should be up on our website soon, with pricing, options and all that neato stuff.
