SpeedRacer 1 #26 September 27, 2005 There are situations in which you are under some dictatorial regime and some people genuinely love the dictator & believe all his BS and many others just kinda go along to get along, so as not to get executed or jailed. Such as in the Soviet Union, or in Iraq under Saddam. But there are other situations where nearly everyone seems to be really and truly under the "spell" of the dictator. Like in North Korea or in China during the Cultural Revolution. Or in cults. Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------

Btw just checked out the site of the thread that was referred to. There are some wonderful quotes: Quote The KFA is officially and legally registered as a non-profit organization in the Justice Department of the Catalunya Region in Spain (European Union). On year 2000 it was registered in the Ministries of the People's Republic of China. Guess it must be all right if it is thus internationally recognized HF #682, Team Dirty Sanchez #227 “I simply hate, detest, loathe, despise, and abhor redundancy.” - Not quite Oscar Wilde... SpeedRacer 1 #32 October 9, 2005 QuoteComrades! I am terrored! A film has just arrived on the markets of Cameroon, this film the American Police Team or some name that is similar. My nephew, purchased this and asked me to watch because he said is had something to do with DPRK. The shock I see! The general, beloved general, Kim Jong Il is a puppet character in this film and speaking the most offending things! He swears in English, kills his interpreter, and turns into a small insect at the end. They make the Dear Leader to be evil man, and lonely man. They find risible the undying love of the Korean people? They think the leadership of DPRK and the revolution is a joke? Forgive me for saying but makers of this film are bastard people! I denounce them and curse them! Bastard people! Can we not complain to someone about such slander? Why has not the KCNA denounced this piece of capitalist propaganda? To think that they make light of the general and debase his greatness! Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------
