matt1215 0 #1 October 29, 2006 There's saying my mom still uses to help her remember which way to set the clock for DST, (Spring Forward, Fall Back). For some reason, this saying just confuses me further. Which direction do you normally fall when you skydive? Which way do springs usually go when you let go of them? There's still 24 hours in a day. No you lose an hour of sleep in the Spring. I remember which is which by thinking that gaining an hour of sleep is the only good thing about the Fall change.
