sky-pimp 0 #1 October 29, 2006 It’s a very strange this what skydiving can do to ya, Once bitten by that undesirable feeling not a lot comes close. It was just another day in the office, only this day more bad news was on the horizon. The sky-pimp was sat looking out of the window at the clear blue sky and the smoke from the power station going straight up, not a bit of wind evident in the tops of any trees. What a perfect day to skydive he thought. Only trouble was all he could do was to day dream of the nil wind landing, No it's not as fast as some but to him he felt like a kestrel taking to lure. Idle banter passed around the room, of who would be on the top table, this is one of our ways to amuse each other with the strange and wonderful correctors we get pass through our world to by a caravan. Another top topic was about me having time off and the boss behind the seines not liking it. 4 extra weekend off that all i've had, not affected sales, work mates ok with it. Only 7 weekends off all year... as sigh passed and CRUNCH the day gets darker. Andy the sales manager closes the door and announces that on the note off weekends off we now have a new ruling for the sales team. ONLY 3 weekends are to be taken in one year, these are to be accompanied by one week’s holiday. Sky-pimp sighed again ,'my boss really does want m to give up the team I trained so hard with over the last year’. He wanted the taste of the nationals again. Talk about something taking over your life. The cold rush of air as it demists your goggles. For that second your heart stops as you place your body in the prop blast to enter the ride.
