One of my favorite albums from my childhood is Jethro Tull Aqualung.

Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!

I even went so far in my Jethro Tull fad as to obtain the symphonic version of their "Greatest Hits" (not muzac, but actual, London Philharmonic renditions), made my father listen to it, and he agreed, they're good.

That was back in the vinyl days, though. I wonder if they've gotten it onto CD...that would be fun as hell to have in the car. I need to get my Jethro Tull collection restored...just have to. Loved them, loved them, loved them.

Yes, yes, yes!!!!!! Did I say YES????

Michele,

We so have to get into your car and rock out to 'Too old to Rock n Roll, Too young to die' (which I believe is not the correct title of the song but I'm blank right now) on volume 29.B|

Am I the only one here who hated acid metal?[:/]

I've got to say that for me, one of the best things about getting an iPod was going through my old CDs
and copying my favorites onto it- stuff I hadn't played in ages! And today, I saw a stereo at the store with a turntable and a CD recorder. If I had one of those, I could get all my old vinyl out the attic and rediscover that! I haven't had a working turntable in years!

So to answer your question- yes! Too many to list, I think. How about Tommy Bolin's Post Toastie? That's a jam!

Songs from my past? Over the Hills and Far Away - I heard that song, thought, "I really must learn to play the guitar." Life has never been the same.

I go ape shit every time I hear Sympathy for the Devil, Flirting with Disaster by Molly Hatchett, "Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick" by Ian Dury and the Blockheads, and pretty much anything by Frank Zappa, i.e., "Plastic People" and I just heard "Montana" again today for the first tim ein a LONG time. "I'm gonna move to Montana soon, gonna be a dental floss tycoon."

My wife is hotter than your wife.
