popsjumper 2 #26 October 30, 2006 When you get to Seattle, turn left and go to San Francisco for seafood breakfast on the wharf. My reality and yours are quite different. NWFlyer 2 #28 October 30, 2006 QuoteWhen you get to Seattle, turn left and go to San Francisco for seafood breakfast on the wharf. Right, because there is no seafood in Seattle. steveorino 7 #29 October 30, 2006 The U-DUB ("W") district is "interesting". For fun eating try the space needle for lunch (too expensive for dinner) and Chang's Mongolian grill in the U-dub district. steveOrino

I've been to Chang's Mongolian up on Broadway (nowhere near the U-district). It's really good lunch fare (of course I hit a mongolian BBQ restaurant locally at least once a week, so my perspective is a bit skewed ) Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" ACMESkydiver 0 #31 October 30, 2006 I'd echo the pitch for the Museum of Flight...absolutely amazing. Check out the Pacific Science Center online to see what they have that might interest you...I love going to the Pac Sci Ctr! It's a kid-friendly learning environment, but they have 'grown up' exhibits and fun stuff, too -check it out here: http://pacificsciencecenter.org/ Here is a link to their 'exhibits' page, and my favortie exhibit of ALL TIME...the BUTTERFLY HOUSE. So many beautiful butterflies all around you!! And it's tropical and warm...very nice for these frosty days. I have bought tickets to see the butterflies twice, and I'd go again in a heartbeat. You might check out showings at the IMAX theater too -it looks like they're having an Egypt thing goin' on right now... ...and call me old-fashioned, but I LOVE visiting local zoos and aquariums, and we have some good ones! http://www.seattleattractions.com/woodland.html http://www.seattleaquarium.org/~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. dbattman 0 #32 October 30, 2006 The traffic jams on the interstate are a definite must.
adventurechick 0 #33 October 30, 2006 The underground tour was really cool and I loved checking out Mt. Ranier. There is a really good hostel in downtown seattle near Pike's Market and the aquarium... I think it was called International Seattle Hostel.. it wasn't the green turtoise one. Very nice rooms and free breakfast in the morning for only like $12.00 a night. Vashion Island was pretty cool... very hippie like and laid back.
