bigway 4 #1 November 1, 2006 This family that have put me up in the uk have three children. They have about everything kids could want and i have been trying to think of a xmas gift to get them before i leave to thailand. Finally come up with the idea of buing them a trampoline. Does anyone know what i need to look out for in the way of tramps, like spring sizes? padding sizes? how big, how high off the ground etc? Looking at the prices here in the uk i dont really want to spend any more than 300 uk pounds. any advice would be cool.... or any ideas on better presents that filthy rich 1o and 8 year old boys and 6 year old girl might want. I really want to buy them something that they will use and really think it is the greatest gift. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
Twoply 0 #2 November 1, 2006 My neighbors have one and their kids were on that thing for hours on end laughing and giggling all the time. My wife and I used to get nude and rub Wesson oil on each other and go hopping around 3 or 4 in the morning. The dad came outside and caught her because she's such a big girl (before getting pregnant). He ended up calling the cops and when they contacted me, I acted like I had no idea what she was doing and gave them a story of there being a problem with this sort of illness running through her family. The police gave her a hefty ticket and she served a lot of community service. When I'm out mowing my lawn, those neigbors won't even wave at me. MagicGuy 0 #3 November 1, 2006 Trampolines are awesome, but can be dangerous. I know from first hand experience. My brother and I were jumping at the same time. I was coming down, he was bouncing up, my teeth hit his head... My tooth was chipped, little bro had to get 14 staples in his head. Not cool. Just try to inforce the one jumper at a time rule, and get one of the fences that go around the trampoline. That thing saved my ass a number of times. I had a blast on that trampoline. Thing was friggin' great. Man, I was pissed when my mom gave that thing to my cousins.. like, 4 years ago
skymama 37 #4 November 1, 2006 I used to live next door to an Emergency Room nurse. One thing he said he'd never buy his kids is a trampoline because that's the main cause of injury of kids that came into his ER. If you're going to get one, get the kind with the net around it. It may take some of the fun out of it, but it will make the parents not hate you.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
skydiverbrian 0 #5 November 1, 2006 Oh, you guys are no fun. A trampoline is a great way to get those adolescence-required broken bones out of the way early in life. They're much easier to recover from when you're young! In a world full of people, only some want to fly... isn't that crazy! --Seal
bigway 4 #6 November 1, 2006 I too think hurting yourself on a tramp teaches you how to fall for later experiences in life. I use to always land on the bars. I think overtime it was a great way to learn to fall. You are right though skymama, i am looking at getting one with a full net around it as well as 6 stands. I am going for a 14 foot round one with full padding and nets. Found one RRP at 600 UK pounds for 280 uk pounds on ebay. Just have to find a way t pick it up without paying their huge delivery price. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .

simplyputsi 0 #9 November 1, 2006 I heard it on dz.com it must be true. ummm a trampoline is pretty cool. might get them in shape a little bit if it doesn't ruin their backs first. My back is fine and I used to jump on them as a kid though. Definitely get the net. you could always get them a bb gun.Skymama's #2 stalker -
