tetra316 0 #1 November 2, 2006 Tech help need please! I tried to copy some files off my laptop to a memory card only I hit cut instead of copy. I also selected more files than I wanted so instead of waiting for the transfer to complete I canceled it. Needless to say the files that were in process just dissappeared. I can't find them on the card or my computer. I'm thinking they are buried somewhere though since I didn't actually delete them. Any idea where to look or are they gone for good? ifall 0 #3 November 2, 2006 I had a really good piece of software that I left at a previous job and I wish I hadn't but can't remember the name. With a quick search I found the following http://www.recovermyfiles.com/ which is free and claims to recover deleted files. Good luck.

jsaxton 0 #7 November 3, 2006 ok, can you be any less specific? For example, what operating system are you using? W2K, 98, Linux/KDE, OS9, OS10, Pink, NextStep, CPM, RSTS,...?

Seems to find a couple of the files but has anyone had any luck with actually using it. You can't recover it unless you buy it.
