Thanks, thats the one. Did you see it, if so opinions.

- didn't see the documentary but the broad majority of the scientific community believes that the science has proven that global warming is happening and that water levels are rising
- luckily this doesn't happen fast and we have time to deal with it, the general thinking is that CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere should be limited to 450 ppm by 2100 to limit the impact of global warming
- this limits CO2 emissions to about 7 billion tons by 2050 because it takes a while for nature to deal with CO2, it does not dissipate quickly
- the 2 largest sources of greenhouse gases are generation of electricity and transportation - about 30% each, industry is about 20%, everything else is the other 20%
- if the cost of greenhouse gas was included in the cost of electricity, cars, plane tickets, etc. then the economic incentive would exist to "fix" the problem
- some insurance companies are already eyeing this and say that they can see an impact on claims: more and stronger storms, the first place this cost may appear is with insurance rates
Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I vote for Chicago where they have strict gun laws.

I live 2500ft up a mountain so rising water levels aren't going to affect me just yet............Seriously though, on Nov 11 the village where I live will be voting
whether to install 10 windmills to generate sufficient power for our needs an sell the surplas generated to the power company.
We have our own sewage treatment plant and are looking at ways to extract methane from vegetable matter.
We hope our village can be an example to others.
