PLFXpert 0 #17 November 5, 2006 Interesting. Interesting. We have a lot of, whatever-you-call-'ems where I live on the beach; the thingies with the big fan on your back. Despite the fact that I can not remember what they're called (and decided to type out my thoughts rather than look it up.), I actually looked into having some local restaurants/bars/clubs etc. "sponsoring" me one, so-to-speak. Basically they'd pay for it, but the canopy would read their restaurant/bar/club name. I had some interest in the idea. The problem is having to dedicate X amount of time to flying it. Anywho...that certainly looks like fun and I've only heard of it from cliffs. We have plans to visit, and perhaps do a tandem, when we're in La Jolla this December.Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
Skyrad 0 #18 November 5, 2006 Damn! LOOPING Kick arse! Anyone ever tried dumping one of those on a Skydive? Is it even possible? When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. shropshire 0 #19 November 5, 2006 Not in terminal freefall [yet] but they are d-bagged regularly (seen in one of the videos that I added earlier). They're a bit big for my harness too big for even a wonderhog. Here's a thread I did earlier....clicky . . (.)Y(.)
