atsaubrey 0 #1 November 6, 2006 I had two of my cars stolen out of my garage while I was sleeping. A 2006 Chrysler and a 1980 Corvette. Thought I would share my frustration."GOT LEAD?"

atsaubrey 0 #3 November 6, 2006 Yeah It is like if they do find them do I really want them back? Hell everyone knows they are beating the hell out of the Corvette. They tried to get my 2006 Vette but couldn't get it started. Luckily they didnt damage it in the process."GOT LEAD?"
jumpchikk 0 #4 November 6, 2006 My roommate is in the process of putting an engine back in his Mitsubishi 3000GT, he went inside the house, garage door was up and a car full of kids came down our street (we live on a dead end road) came into the garage and stole the engine off of the engine mount. He went back out to the garage and the engine was gone, he was inside for like 20 minutes. Luckily, they found the engine in some kid's yard in a wheelbarrow and returned it to him...but dayum at the audacity of some people... I'm sorry to hear that you have had to endure someone stealing your cars. I hope they will find the people and your cars still intact.

lawrocket 3 #6 November 6, 2006 My dad used to buy old corvettes and restore them. Apparently, when I was just a toddler, someone stole his 1969 Vette. Their mistake was that it was bright orange - easy to see, and was spotted within minutes of the report. Mistake 2 was not being able to handle the power of a 454, and ended up damaging the front quarter panel with a stop sign while trying to get away from the Ling Beach Police. About the only thing the thief did correctly was take the jailer's advice in declining to be bailed out by my dad. My dad got the 50 bucks to bail the guy out, and upon the thief's release to my dad, he would have the living shit beat out of him. Note that my dad, unlike me, was an imposing physical presence. As of 5 years ago, he closely resembled Paul Teutul, Sr. (of Orange County Choppers) in build and appearance, only back then my dad had a 32 inch waist and 48 inch chest. I've met you, Aubrey. I'd hate to piss you off, that's for sure. It may be a worthwhile technique... My wife is hotter than your wife.
atsaubrey 0 #7 November 7, 2006 I love it! Now i do hope they find the bastards and I I can try the bail technique. Holy Christ i love it! My friggin garage is empty it is so sad when im in there right now. the bastards got away with over $3000 worth of car audio equipment too. I was going to do a major sound system next week, luckily i guess is I had all the amps inside the house and they made away with the4 deck, componet speakers and sub woofers. SO far they haven't found the cars or anything. What really sucks though is I now have fear of being at home and the bastards coming back. Went looking at Glocks today and the bastards wont be happy when and if they come back."GOT LEAD?"
