skymama 37 #1 November 7, 2006 Faith Hill is saying today that her reaction to losing an award to Carrie Underwood last night was just a joke. You decide. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYaD7pCXFogShe is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

Rebecca 0 #5 November 7, 2006 I was all ready to believe that until I saw the clip. If that was acting, she should quit her day job. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

skymama 37 #7 November 7, 2006 QuoteUm, I think it was a joke. I know, that's what I wrote that she said in my post. Either way, it wasn't very gracious of her, that's for sure. It was Carrie's moment, a joke at that time is in poor taste especially since she knew cameras were going to be on her.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
PLFXpert 0 #8 November 7, 2006 Ooo, I didn't get it. I thought you meant she literally made the statement "Losing to Carrie Underwood is a joke." <--blonde moment. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Muenkel 0 #12 November 7, 2006 I like both Faith and Carrie. Faith's been around long enough to know how to handle herself in public. If it was a joke, it was a bad one. Maybe she's intimidated by the younger sexier blonde on the block? Chris _________________________________________ Chris

misskriss 0 #17 November 8, 2006 Quotewell...except that "adult alternative" crap she listens to on the cable music channels That station rocks!! I always have it on in the evening. The soundscapes station is also very soothing when I'm trying to get the baby to sleep. Love those cable music channels.

Love those cable music channels. Thank you! I was drinking wine, cooking dinner on a Sunday evening...it was soothing! Besides, I had to do something to detox my system after the country music. aprilcat 0 #20 November 8, 2006 QuoteIt totally looked like Faith was joking around. She was smiling when she did it. Dear Sunshine: Look at it again. She was smiling when the names were being read. She was ALSO moving her stuff so she could get up. When she turned her head back after yelling 'what', that chick wasn't smiling. She even did something with her arm that looks like a victory wave that fell in frustration. Its a funny moment, but she wasn't joking!~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo! cocheese 0 #21 November 8, 2006 Please. Ok. Award show = gay Country award show = even gayer I think the artists (and i use that term lightly) know who the so called winner is before the show starts. Who nominates these people? who votes? Who cares? Here's a good country joke: My parents had a place next door to Alan Jackson in Florida in a culdesac/dead end street. The tourist traffic was funny so my dad put "G. Brooks" on his own mail box. Even Alan thought it was hillarious. Everybody is a comedian.

SpeedRacer 1 #23 November 8, 2006 I don't know. I've watched it several times on youtube, different versions, some slowed down, etc. It is so dramatic & over the top & obvious that I think it may well have been done as a joke. chaoskitty 0 #24 November 8, 2006 I say its a joke. I've seen years of award shows and Faith has never behaved like that. She wasnt "moving her stuff". She had just performed and was back stage. I think she was just having fun. Plus she got some publicity and even bad publicity is good publicity.
