Have fun and tell us all about it when you can!"...I've learned that while the "needs" in life are important (food, water, shelter), it's the "wants" in life (ice cream, chocolate, sex) that make it worth the effort." sartre 0 #14 November 9, 2006 I am so excited and happy to be here. My heart just leapt at my first glimpse of the wind tunnel. I am using my friend Troy's laptop....he is a buddy from the tunnel who decided on the spur of the moment to come along. So please wish him luck as well. He's done two AFF jumps in Longmont and had a bit of a scary experience, so he is feeling apprehensive. I know he'll be great once he gets out of the plane again. Don't know how often I'll be able to post our progress, but I WILL try to keep ya'll updated. And special thanks to you, Jewels, for the goodies that were in our rooms when we got here. I love you girl!!!!!!! Blues, Yvonne

Jewels 0 #16 November 9, 2006 Well, the "goodies" were supposed to include the traditional beer, but since that's not exactly available through the hotel and since YOU'RE supposed to be the one buying the beer anyway, not me, you'll have to settle for caffeine and chocolate! Hugs back to both of you and GOOD LUCK TOMORROW! I know you'll both be great.TPM Sister #
squarecanopy 0 #17 November 9, 2006 Hey Yvonne, Please tell Troy that we are pulling for him too! Have him meditate on your shirt and then DO IT. No, not the one that says "boobies"; the one that says 'ARCH BREATHE RELAX"!! He's GOT to get out of the plane so he can show off his sitfly to the instructors as well. Rock on tomorrow and have a good time. Anxiously awaiting news.....BSSLDFTP,Bill Just burning a hole in the sky.....

sartre 0 #19 November 9, 2006 Hey all, here's an update. Troy has had two jumps, both decent landings, one PLF. Gusts are now above 16 miles per hour, one at 19, so we are grounded. Of course this happened just as I finished ground school. I have one thing to say. FUCK. Sorry, but I am soooooo disappointed. Still hoping to get a jump in today. Come on wind gods, be nice. They didn't mention the wind problem. I'm so sorry. (How was ground school, other than the ironic cruelty that you would travel all the way there, sit through the class, and then have to stare at your hotel?) Is Troy feeling good about his jumps? Is he gonna get the package?TPM Sister #

flyangel2 2 #25 November 11, 2006 Way to go girly. Up to level three! You better hurry up and pass so we can do some jumps at home before it gets too cold. I hate jumping in the cold.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.
