usedtajump 1 #1 November 11, 2006 What are the most eclectic living spaces you've run across for skydivers? Not just a trailer or a tent on an airport but a permanent building sort of thing. I've known one jumper who lived in a sewage pumping station in Ft. Worth (not as bad as it sounds, really a pretty nice setup) another who lived in the abandoned control tower at the Cameron County Airport in South Padre Island, Texas and one who lived in the vacant Braniff Airlines wing of the terminal at Dallas Love Field. The older I get the less I care who I piss off. Amazon 7 #2 November 11, 2006 I lived on my 36 ft boat for 3 years 1990 to 1993....it was in a small marina in a state wildlife area. My rent including water and electric was $75 a month. Oh .. I owned the boat outright.. and my workshop for my business was in a floating house) Small cottage built on top of floating logs) that I bought and refurbished on the end slip. Yup another $75 per month
