New Countries!!

Recommended Posts

So I am in the process of applying for my passport. I have an appointment on monday to finish up the paperwork. I would like to plan a trip in a few months to go to a different country and skydive. Which countries is it the cheapest to fly to and have some cool dropzones/scenery?

Pick one... cheapest or best scenery?? New Zealand has some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world, but it's definitely not cheap. On the other hand, you can get some pretty great deals to London, but I think you'll be hard-pressed to guarantee good jumping weather there :S

How about a Caribbean island?? You're close to being able to do beach jumps :P

As far as counties go Germany and Spain are two of my favorites.

There is a little hole in the wall Bar in Rhoda Spain thats serves Buckets of Long Island Ice tea for about $5 us.
As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.

There's lots of places that are cheap to get to from the USA, but I've no idea how many have decent dropzones. If you want to go in "a few months", Europe might be a good place to avoid - it'll be cold and wet!

New Zealand doesn't have a huge amount of sport jumping.

Despite containing myself and Squeak, Australia is cool. Lots of cool places to hang out, lots of surfing, diving, and sharks.

South Africa might also be a decent option?

No idea as to South America...
