sundevil777 102 #1 November 17, 2006 They already had other UAVs, such as the predator, dark star, and global hawk, now they have the X-45: The museum is so huge, so much to see, it is like the Grand Canyon - you cannot appreciate how good it will be before you get there. http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123031757People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
PhreeZone 20 #2 November 17, 2006 I have'nt been there in ages even though my brother is stationed there. I might need to swing by this fall again to take a look around again. Oh, BTW, Columbus is hosting the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends next fall. 100+ P-51's are set to be here. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
sundevil777 102 #3 November 17, 2006 I was surprised to find the museum already has an F-22 raptor! Too bad they don't have a cool skydiving exhibit with a pic of me jumping into the Renton factory like the Museum of Flight in Seattle. I hope that display is still up. Besides that small omission, the USAF museum is the best. I'll definitely have to check out the P-51s. I was fortunate enough to go to a full Confederate Air Force Show in the mid '70s near Phoenix (Goodyear). That treat included Bob Hoover doing single engine acrobatics in a P-38.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. A lot of fun looking down at the ramp full of 737's while in freefall. Hey, I got a ride in Bob Hoover's old Mustang, "Ole Yeller", a couple of weeks ago. Mega big case of beer on that one.
