aprilcat 0 #26 November 17, 2006 I don't know WHAT this guy is up to..I think its just that he WANTS to confess cause its eating him up; he's no longer in the limelight and thinks people will eat this up; and he's a media whore. And a SICk one at that. I wouldn't give a nickle for the book and I won't waste gray matter watching the show on FOX. They should be ashamed. And don't think the entire black community thinks he's innocent. He didn't CALL on the (radial) black community till he wanted to play the race card. F-ing race-baiter! I remember where I was when I heard and remembering my jaw dropping and thinking 'he got away with THAT???' I think he did it. Can't they try him for manslaughter??? Or at LEAST for not staying his stink murdering a$$ out of our faces?~~April Camelot II, the Electric Boogaloo!
Samurai136 0 #27 November 17, 2006 QuoteCan't they try him for manslaughter??? I don't like OJ either. "DOUBLE JEOPARDY - Being tried twice for the same offense; prohibited by the 5th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. '[T]he Double Jeopardy Clause protects against three distinct abuses: [1] a second prosecution for the same offense after acquittal; [2] a second prosecution for the same offense after conviction; and [3] multiple punishments for the same offense.' U.S. v. Halper, 490 U.S. 435, 440 (1989)." Unless there is some evidence that OJ was never in jeopardy in the criminal case, double jeopardy applies."Buttons aren't toys." - Trillian Ken
Muenkel 0 #28 November 17, 2006 April, I don't believe he wants to confess at all. I believe his conscience is dead. If he was...cough...innocent, why would he put his kids through this shit all over again. He's doing this for the money and whatever sick twisted reason is going through his fucked up head. As for Double Jeopardy, I don't know if it would be legal in Cali; but I wish they would have tried him for Ron's murder alone. If there was an acquittal, then try him for Nicole's. I know Oklahoma did this with Timothy fucking McVeigh. Chris _________________________________________ Chris
masterrig 1 #29 November 17, 2006 You make some good points. They can't try him for anything connected with the killings... double jeopardy! I'm with you, I wouldn't buy his stupid book, either. What really got me, during his trial was, the leather gloves. He couldn't get the dried, blood-soaked gloves on. Well DUH! Leather shrinks after being wet and after drying, they would really be a hassle to get on, anyhow. Everyone missed that. The response was... those gloves aren't his! They're too small! The prosecution, totally, dropped the ball and didn't have their case together. It's just too damned bad, people can't just totally, ignore the guy. No attention... No O.J! edit to add: Too bad, the trial wasn't in Texas! Chuck

hooked 0 #33 November 18, 2006 I'm appalled that this will even be aired on TV! He's a moron. FOX should pull this one before it airs. But then there will be those sicko's that watch it and buy and read the book. -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings. SmilingPhoenix 0 #34 November 18, 2006 Isn't is sad that for several of us, we don't remember where we were when JFK died (not having been born yet), but we do remember where we were when we heard the verdict about OJ? I'll never forget it... Prick.Because life is an adventure - it may not be the one you planned, but then it wouldn't be an adventure!
PLFXpert 0 #35 November 18, 2006 I laughed when I heard this news story break several days ago. "If I did it, here's how." Guilty? Not Guilty? Who knows? From what we hear on television and read in the news, evidence points toward guilty, but we only know what we're fed & led. The OJ thing has always cracked me up. No, it's not funny two people died. I'm just saying though--my school classes were only interrupted, that I can recall, twice in my life. And the first time was to hear the verdict of the OJ simpson trial. I hereby present the "Are you fucking kidding me?" award to the OJ Simpson trial phenom. From a psychological perspective, I think the book confirms his guilt. He's proud he pulled one over on the justice system and has a need to receive credit for his "accomplishment". It's typical psychopath behavior. I could be wrong. But, I think I'm right.Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
