CanuckInUSA 0 #1 November 19, 2006 I just bought myself a small paper shredder so that I can shred personal documents such as bills and what not. So the first thing that I shred to test that I set it up right was the product's users guide (without even reading it). Carry on ... Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
moodyskydiver 0 #2 November 19, 2006 are you related to my dad or husband/father-in-law?Jeez,any time they do anything, the first thing to go to the trash is the box it came in with setup/user's instructions still inside. My parents are a bit uh...computer challenged. So my dad tossed most of the papers/manuals to his new laptop b/c he said "I'm not worried, you'll show me/teach me how to do everything anyway".Luckily I got to him before all the discs included went the same way. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."
masterrig 1 #3 November 19, 2006 One tthing... periodically, take a plain sheet of paper with a few scattered drops of light oil and run it through your shredder. This, is mentioned in the owner's manual.... Shredders are really cool. It doesn't work good, slicing salami! Chuck
