Well, I made it. Paid up on a one week rental and now I'm looking for an apartment to call home. It's actually quite nice apartment shopping down here. The last time I had to search for an apartment I was looking at smaller places for 6 times as much money in NYC.

Texas is being good to me so far, and it better keep it up!!!

Hey there... welcome to Texas. CLEARLY the best state in the union.

Anyway, Victoria is actually only and hour and 20 minutes away from Spaceland. I've made the drive many times since I have family in Victoria. Just be sure you don't go to Houston, THEN back to Spaceland. You got to Wharton and take the scenic route through the back way and it's a nice drive and about an hour faster.

Let me know if you need directions and I'll do my best. I just have the way memorized so I don't pay attention to highway numbers.

And... we have a bunkhouse and camping for you.

Great, thanks! I plan on getting current up in Georgia while I'm there over the holidays and then start checking out dropzones down here.

I love this state so far! I've been going through Mexican food withdrawl for the last couple years so I'm in hog heaven now!
