DougH 270 #2 November 23, 2006 No stuffing???!!! Skip the candied yams, and toss the apple pie. Give me stuffing and green bean casarole with the crunch onion topping any day. Stuffing is an accessory, and I'm not a big fan of it anyway. Green bean cassarole makes my stomach do flip flops. The bad ones.cavete terrae.
grue 1 #5 November 23, 2006 QuoteWhat about a ham? Seriously, no stuffing? Are you a communist or something? Ham is a breakfast food See above for my thoughts on stuffing. In all honesty the idea of turkey without stuffing doesn't occur to me, I just consider it to be included cavete terrae.

JohnMitchell 16 #9 November 24, 2006 QuoteWhy does everyone always want stupid dry boring turkey... Not the way I cook it, 3 days of brining and then roasted only to 160 degrees. Moist and delicious. Gotta have: Turkey Stuffing w/gravy Cranberry Sauce Homemade dinner rolls Corn Maybe mashed potatoes, but too much more and you just overcrowd the table. We have family over and they bring several dishes, but it's always more than we need. I like to K.I.S.S. Open microwave 2. Hit 10:00 3. let cool to under 2000 degree's for a couple minutes 4. enjoy Or option #2 as I did this year with the folks 1. Get in car 2. find open diner 3. Say yes I'll take that when they tell you their "special" which today is guarentted to included turkey, ham or both 4. go home and watch football with no dirty dishes to worry about _________________________________________ The Angel of Duh has spoke
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
