livendive 8 #28 November 28, 2006 QuoteYeah she is hot.. and she can sing. But I posted a video of a hot young chick singing with the dallas cowboy cheerleaders dancing back up and all I got back from Dave was "I'm GAY"! Is that what that was? The internet is full of porn that involves hot young chicks and nothing that sounds remotely like a cat being raped, so I'm STILL not clicking your redneck music link! Muenkel 0 #32 November 28, 2006 Dave, You don't have to be a country music fan to appreciate Carrie Underwood. Her music is more country-pop like Faith Hill's. Plus she's every bit as apealling to the eyes and other anatomical parts as Faith Hill. Chris _________________________________________ Chris

Based on what you're saying, I'm guessing better than Frank Williams Sr. in both regards? Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" livendive 8 #35 November 28, 2006 Quote Oh good! Now I get to give you crap for having lived on this planet for the past 10 years and never hearing of Faith Hill. I've heard the name, just nothing beyond that. Wait, is she the one who did that duet with Kid Rock or Eminem or whoever it was? There was some country chick that was real popular for being hot and "mainstream" with her music like 10 years ago...I think she married some famous country guy and popped out a couple of kids. Is that her? Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)
chaoskitty 0 #36 November 28, 2006 I think you're confusing Sheryl Crow who did a duet with Kid Rock.. and Faith Hill who married Tim McGraw and popped out 3 kids.
livendive 8 #37 November 28, 2006 That sounds right on the duet thing, but I think the other one I was thinking of was Shania Twain. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

I don't really listen to country that much, but I did hear ST at the Ice Palace in Tampa. A friend had tickets and couldn't go, so I got them. She put on an excellent show. What I really liked is that she took out some time and did stuff with the audience. She invited some girls up to sing with her. She talked to a lot of people and signed a lot of stuff. Even if it was just part of the act, it was certainly a nice gesture. She didn't have to do anything.

They showed Faith's reaction when it was announced Carrie had won... Faith got weirded-out... it was not pretty! Faith was pretty angry. Chuck

Muenkel 0 #49 November 29, 2006 I have to admit, I'm really starting to like country music. Not the old twangy stuff, but what the newer artists are putting out. Watching GAC, I'm noticing they provide quite a lot of excellent eye candy also. This is quite a transformation for a Long Island boy....not the enjoying of eye candy part but rather enjoying the country music. I can't even understand half of what is being sung, and there seem to be very few unique voices that will make you stop and listen. And, where the hell is that steel guitar?
